Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience
- Ability to follow cleaning instructions and safety guidelines
- Willingness to attend annual safety and infection control training
- Ability to report spills and hazardous material incidents
- Consent to drug and alcohol testing after conditional offer
- Compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Policy
- Eligibility verification through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow posted cleaning instructions and safety protocols
- Knowledge of infection control and hazardous material handling
- Effective communication skills to report maintenance issues
- Ability to work cooperatively with other departments
- Attendance at mandatory safety and infection control training
Job Duties
- Clean patients' rooms, nursing stations, family areas, and public areas in administrative and inpatient buildings
- Clean administrative offices, cafeteria, restrooms, corridors, and conference rooms
- Record completed jobs on work order forms for supervisor review
- Maintain hard floors
- Mix and dispense cleaning solutions according to instructions
- Assist with cleaning patient rooms as needed
- Report and document spills following safety and OSHA regulations
