Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping and laundry services
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Must be able to work 2pm to 8pm part-time shift

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas meeting Sunrise quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and polishing surfaces
- Knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering and respect privacy
- Maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linens to appropriate areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in a sanitary manner
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and inspecting linens
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations by responding to requests and communicating feedback
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored securely and safety hazards are managed according to regulations
- Participate as a team member in training, meetings, and engagement activities
- Maintain compliance with all required training and safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
