Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience
- Ability to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Consent to background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Ability to follow OSHA and safety regulations
- Availability to work scheduled shifts Sunday through Wednesday 9 am to 7 30 pm
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Attendance of mandatory safety and infection control training
Job Duties
- Clean patients rooms baths and shower rooms nurses stations kitchens offices libraries meditation rooms staff bathrooms handicapped bathrooms public rooms corridors stairwells and outside entrances according to posted instructions and on call substitute basis
- Clean administrative offices cafeteria restrooms corridors and conference rooms according to posted instructions and on call substitute basis
- Record completed jobs on work order form ensuring no task is omitted and supervisor can verify completion
- Maintain hard floors
- Mix and dispense cleaning solutions according to instructions to avoid accidents with hazardous materials
- Assist with cleaning of patient rooms as needed
- Report and document spills according to hazardous material safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
