Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Availability to work full-time AM shift from 5 AM to 1 PM
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions and safety protocols
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies restrooms drinking fountains and floors
  • Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly
  • Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris
  • Remove dirt dust and food from walls mirrors windows light fixtures towel bars and dispensers
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed
  • Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility
  • Follow safety protocols including using caution signage and securely storing chemicals
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions
  • Keep housekeeping carts equipment and storage areas clean organized and sanitary
  • Report any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping Administrator or Director of Nursing
  • Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude
  • Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards
