Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Availability to work full-time AM shift from 5 AM to 1 PM
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and safety protocols
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies restrooms drinking fountains and floors
- Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly
- Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris
- Remove dirt dust and food from walls mirrors windows light fixtures towel bars and dispensers
- Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility
- Follow safety protocols including using caution signage and securely storing chemicals
- Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions
- Keep housekeeping carts equipment and storage areas clean organized and sanitary
- Report any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping Administrator or Director of Nursing
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude
- Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards
