Job Requirements

  • Must be physically fit and able to bend stoop and lift
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be able to work with industrial laundry equipment cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Must be punctual and flexible with work schedule
  • Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if driving is required
  • Must follow all hotel rules and regulations for safe operations

Job Qualifications

  • Must be physically fit and able to bend stoop and lift

  • Experience with industrial laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel policies and guest service expectations
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Job Duties

  • Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
  • Proceed to the laundry area to pick up assigned cart and necessary supplies
  • Avoid making excessive noise in guest room areas
  • Prioritize cleaning of check-out rooms unless special request received
  • Report rooms listed as do not disturb to supervisor for approval
  • Change sheets in every room daily unless specified by guest or hotel policy
  • Clean rooms according to established procedures and return cart to linen room at end of shift
  • Carry out reasonable requests by management
  • Be flexible in work schedule
  • Report to work on time and in proper and clean uniform
  • Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and changes
  • Be aware of guest service scores and understand guest comments and needs
  • Handle duties according to hotel policies and standards
  • Know emergency procedures and act accordingly
  • Report unusual occurrences or requests to management
  • Assist fellow associates to improve daily operations
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if applicable
