Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Make beds
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays
- Transport trash and waste to the disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Replace light bulbs
- Abide by regulations set forth by material safety data sheets when using chemicals
- Report to working for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy
- Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Perform other related duties as required
