Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant maintenance experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Ability to follow directions and safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Availability to respond to emergencies or urgent maintenance issues
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in property maintenance or related field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, ADA, and Fair Housing laws
- Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws
- Maintain knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations for hazardous materials
- Monitor community property conditions and correct unsafe conditions
- Perform scheduled minor routine maintenance on equipment and tools
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Complete work orders within 24 hours when possible
- Assist make-ready staff with repairs and services
- Report major repairs and requisition supplies
- Change locks and manage keys
- Move heavy appliances and furniture as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and inform Service Manager of shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
- Ensure storage areas are locked when not in use
- Assist with groundskeeping and litter removal
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
