Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to perform housekeeping and laundry tasks meeting quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Willingness to complete required health and safety testing including drug screening
- Ability to follow community procedures and safety guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and infection control procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work semi-independently and follow procedures
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices by sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to storage and collection areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in a sanitary manner
- Collect, clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and inspect community laundry following approved procedures
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Ensure cleaning chemicals and equipment are safely stored and maintained in compliance with safety regulations
- Participate as a member of a team and contribute to team goals
- Attend required training and meetings and maintain compliance with all community and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
