Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift moderate weight as required
- Availability to work full-time hours
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to comply with all safety standards and policies
- Demonstrated respect and compassion for senior residents
Job Duties
- Exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization
- Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in resident rooms, common areas, and community spaces
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by supervisory staff
