Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Must have the ability to understand and converse in English at a level that allows safe, efficient performance of the job
- Be able to lift 25-50 pounds
- Requires physical demands, ability to stand for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting
- Competent in using proper chemicals for proper tasks
- Ability to learn and demonstrate new procedures related to the healthcare industry

- Experience in environmental services or hospital cleaning preferred
Job Duties
- Perform the 8-step cleaning procedures including daily and discharge cleaning
- Make beds and clean wall spots, toilets, and perform high and low dusting
- Conduct operating room terminal cleaning according to hospital protocols
- Clean up organic body waste such as blood, body fluids, feces, and sputum
- Hang cubical, shower, and window curtains
- Disinfect and sanitize IV poles, pumps, and other patient equipment during discharge cleaning
- Assist in manpower support for office moves, conference room setups, and special occasions
