Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for cleaning
- Available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to comply with hotel uniform and appearance policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance if driving responsibilities are applicable
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Valid driver's license if driving duties are required
Job Duties
- Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Sign out keys at the start of the shift and sign in at the end
- Collect assigned cart and necessary supplies from the laundry area
- Maintain quietness to avoid disturbing guests while on the floor
- Prioritize cleaning check-out rooms unless special requests are made
- Report all rooms with Do Not Disturb signs to supervisor for approval
- Change sheets in every room daily unless specified otherwise
- Clean rooms according to established procedures
- Return cleaning cart to linen room at end of shift
- Carry out all reasonable requests by management
- Be flexible with work schedule
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform including name tag
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, procedures, and events
- Understand and contribute to guest service scores goals
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and emergency standards
- Report any unusual occurrences or requests to management
- Assist fellow associates when possible to improve hotel operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
