Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if driving is required

  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel policies
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of emergency procedures

  • Physical stamina to handle shifting workloads
  • Familiarity with safety and hygiene regulations

Job Duties

  • Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
  • Sign out and sign in keys using key control log
  • Collect assigned cart and supplies from laundry area
  • Maintain quiet in guest room areas to avoid disturbing guests
  • Prioritize check-out rooms unless special requests are made
  • Report do not disturb rooms to supervisor for approval
  • Change sheets in every room daily unless otherwise specified
  • Observe Do Not Disturb signs while cleaning rooms
  • Clean rooms according to established procedures
  • Return cart to linen room at end of shift
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by management
  • Be flexible with work schedule
  • Report to work on time wearing proper uniform and name tag
  • Stay informed about daily hotel operations and new procedures
  • Be aware of guest service scores and understand guest feedback
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures
  • Know and act upon emergency procedures
  • Report unusual occurrences to manager
  • Assist fellow associates to improve hotel operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Possess valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and be approved driver if applicable
