Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping experience is an asset

- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Job Duties
- maintain a high quality of guest service according to silverton values
- thoroughly follow applicable company and departmental policies and procedures
- sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens
- change sheets and other linens, pillows, and comforters and make beds according to guidelines
- properly replenish standard bathroom supplies such as towels, amenities, and toilet paper
- sweep, scrub, and vacuum floors and empty wastebaskets
- vacuum rugs and carpets and clean upholstered furniture
- clean restrooms including toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, vanity areas, mirrors, and floors
- dust and clean furniture including televisions, credenzas, chairs, headboards, air conditioning units, phones, mirrors, sofas, lamps, luggage racks, picture frames, and glass
- wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, window sills, and thresholds
- ensure all room items are in working order including televisions, lights, air conditioning units, telephones, alarm clocks, coffee makers, refrigerators, drapes, curtains, and luggage racks
- complete all required paperwork on time and accurately
- immediately turn found items into lost and found
- maintain control of assigned room key fobs
- report all maintenance issues
- adhere to uniform and appearance standards
- maintain open communication with managers
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests, team members, and vendors
- accept performance feedback professionally
- ensure regular attendance and punctuality
- perform other duties as assigned
