Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Capable of handling physical aspects of housekeeping work including lifting and bending
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective resident interaction
- Reliable and punctual with good time management

- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies in each apartment
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments paying special attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in the laundry facilities provided
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Review menu courteously with residents, take meal orders, serve meals and desserts, and return cart to kitchen while assisting with storage of perishable items
