Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Must be dependable and able to work every third weekend
- Ability to respond promptly to residents’ needs
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- High school graduate or equivalent credentials preferred
- Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ personal property rights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned
- Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies
- Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing and disinfecting
- Clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
- Clean and polish furnishings in hallways, stairways, and elevators
- Clean resident rooms including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing bathrooms, mirrors, and pictures
- Collect all trash from rooms, offices, lounges, and bathrooms daily
