Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in hospital or hotel housekeeping
- Ability to work the scheduled hours of Sunday to Wednesday from 9 am to 7:30 pm
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment
- Compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Policy
- Ability to pass background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Ability to follow safety and infection control guidelines
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and bending
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and safety protocols
- Knowledge of infection control standards and safety regulations such as OSHA
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with healthcare and maintenance staff
- Ability to track and document work completion efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean healthcare environment
Job Duties
- Clean patients' rooms, nursing stations, family areas, and public spaces according to posted instructions
- Clean administrative offices, cafeteria, restrooms, corridors, and conference rooms on a scheduled or on-call basis
- Record completed jobs on work order forms to ensure all tasks are completed and easily verifiable
- Maintain hard floors, including sweeping, mopping, and other necessary upkeep
- Mix and dispense cleaning solutions safely according to posted instructions and safety guidelines
- Assist with cleaning patient rooms as needed to support healthcare teams
- Report spills, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions immediately and accurately
