Job Requirements

  • Housekeeping experience
  • locals only, must live within 60 miles of terminal
  • ability to speak, read and write in English enough to complete assignments and communicate with supervisor and employees
  • knowledge and/or experience necessary to ensure proper use of all equipment and supplies
  • ability to perform all described duties for full shifts at a time

Job Duties

  • Clean assigned employee sleeping quarters
  • carry cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts or by hand as needed
  • mix water and detergents or other in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications, and follow directions for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to furniture and/or fixtures
  • perform cleaning duties including laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing furniture and fixtures, cleaning windows and mirrors, dusting, scouring bathrooms, making beds and replacing linens
  • complete and turn in paperwork daily, indicating work completion, inventory of SCRI items of rooms, condition of rooms, room occupancy, and any areas of concern
  • perform other related tasks as assigned by manager
