Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred especially in healthcare assisted living or hospitality
- ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods
- must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to work weekends holidays and cover vacations
- reliable and punctual with strong sense of responsibility
- ability to work independently and efficiently
Job Qualifications
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred especially in healthcare assisted living or hospitality
- prior experience working with seniors or in a care environment is a plus
- strong ability to perform cleaning tasks to a high standard
- good interpersonal skills and effective communication
- ability to stand walk bend and lift throughout shifts
- reliable punctual with strong responsibility
- friendly team-oriented and respectful demeanor
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize resident apartments including bathrooms kitchens bedrooms and living areas
- follow established cleaning protocols to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment
- handle residents' personal spaces with care and respect
- clean and maintain all common areas such as lounges dining rooms hallways and restrooms
- perform regular spot cleaning and deep cleaning as scheduled
- ensure shared areas are tidy safe and pleasant
- thoroughly clean and prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins according to the cleaning checklist
- sanitize surfaces polish fixtures and ensure move-in readiness
- wash dry fold and distribute laundry and linens
- maintain proper labeling and storage of linens
- maintain housekeeping supplies and ensure equipment is used safely
- report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
- assist with special cleaning projects or event preparation as requested
- always follow safety and infection control procedures
- provide courteous and respectful service to residents visitors and team members
