Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred especially in healthcare assisted living or hospitality
  • ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • ability to work weekends holidays and cover vacations
  • reliable and punctual with strong sense of responsibility
  • ability to work independently and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred especially in healthcare assisted living or hospitality
  • prior experience working with seniors or in a care environment is a plus
  • strong ability to perform cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • good interpersonal skills and effective communication
  • ability to stand walk bend and lift throughout shifts
  • reliable punctual with strong responsibility
  • friendly team-oriented and respectful demeanor

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize resident apartments including bathrooms kitchens bedrooms and living areas
  • follow established cleaning protocols to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment
  • handle residents' personal spaces with care and respect
  • clean and maintain all common areas such as lounges dining rooms hallways and restrooms
  • perform regular spot cleaning and deep cleaning as scheduled
  • ensure shared areas are tidy safe and pleasant
  • thoroughly clean and prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins according to the cleaning checklist
  • sanitize surfaces polish fixtures and ensure move-in readiness
  • wash dry fold and distribute laundry and linens
  • maintain proper labeling and storage of linens
  • maintain housekeeping supplies and ensure equipment is used safely
  • report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
  • assist with special cleaning projects or event preparation as requested
  • always follow safety and infection control procedures
  • provide courteous and respectful service to residents visitors and team members
