Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to operate vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaning machines
- basic understanding of infection control procedures
- ability to follow safety guidelines and facility protocols
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
- good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- reliable attendance
- flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- knowledge of infection control standards

Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness within the facility including resident/patient rooms public and resident restrooms and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines
- complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for next admission
- ensure all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap paper towels and toilet paper
- operate and care for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums housekeeping carts carpet cleaning machines etc
- comply with safety and sanitation policies at all times
- report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- collaborate with other staff to ensure a clean and safe environment
