Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions in the English language
  • Three months experience in institutional housekeeping operations preferred
  • Familiarity with environmental services and commercial cleaning practices
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Perform cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors
  • Utilize specialized equipment for floor care including buffing and carpet cleaning
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines for sanitation and safety
  • Maintain cleanliness in resident areas, common spaces, and staff areas
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
  • Adhere to safety protocols while performing tasks
  • Assist in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors, and staff
