Job Requirements
- must have legal authorization to work in the United States
- able to work full-time for 28 weeks
- willing to live and work onboard throughout the contract period
- physical capability to perform housekeeping duties involving physical exertion
- ability to maintain a professional appearance and comply with grooming standards
- willingness to undergo pre-employment drug testing and background screening
- ability to provide friendly and efficient guest service
- commitment to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- must be at least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- able to pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- committed to adhering to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- willingness to comply with strict no alcohol consumption policy aboard ship
- excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude under pressure
- ability to perform emergency and safety functions as required during training
Job Duties
- creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
- acknowledging guests by name and handling housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- carefully cleaning up spills and reporting maintenance needs
- collecting and disposing of trash
- properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to housekeeping requests efficiently
- assisting with guest greeting and special onboard events as needed
