Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies properly
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
- COVID-19 vaccine required
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and bending
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect resident areas, restrooms, showers/baths, resident dining rooms, utility rooms, corridors, stairwells and elevators
- Empty and reline trash containers taking trash to designated holding area
- Dust mop, vacuum, and damp mop floors
- Clean and disinfect all high touch surfaces including over-bed tables, light switches, shower stalls, restroom sink and toilet fixtures
- Vacuum/damp wipe ledges, over-bed lights, vents, windowsills and furniture
- Clean inside of room glass and glass panels
- Replenish paper towel, toilet paper and soap supplies to ensure these items are always available
- Ensure that all furniture is neatly and properly arranged
- Perform terminal cleaning of resident rooms upon discharge including cleaning and disinfecting bed mattress and frame, bed side cabinets, armoires, wheelchairs
- Shampoo and extract carpets and upholstered furniture
- Scrub and refinish hard surface flooring
