Job Requirements
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to follow posted cleaning instructions and safety protocols
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing after a conditional offer
- Compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Policy
- Eligibility for background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Ability to attend mandatory annual safety and infection control training
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospital or hotel housekeeping experience

- Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions
- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work cooperatively with other departments
Job Duties
- Clean patients' rooms, nursing stations, family areas, and room/public areas in both administrative and inpatient buildings
- Clean administrative offices, cafeteria, restrooms, corridors, and conference rooms
- Record completed jobs on work order forms to ensure tasks are completed and easily checked by supervisors
- Maintain hard floors
- Mix and dispense cleaning solutions according to posted instructions to avoid accidents with hazardous materials
- Assist with cleaning of patient rooms as needed
- Report and document spills according to hazardous material safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
