Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- pass background check

Job Duties
- Comply with all Butterfield Trail Village policies and procedures
- clean and sanitize areas of responsibility according to Butterfield Trail Village and departmental policies and procedures
- clean and sanitize emergency spills promptly as they occur
- sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living spaces thoroughly
- clean high dust areas including ceiling fans, wall ledges, tops of cabinets, refrigerators, and similar surfaces
- perform thorough cleaning in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- deliver and put away supplies
- collect and transport linens (both soiled and clean), trash, and infectious waste safely
- assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks
- maintain a courteous and professional attitude with residents, staff, and visitors at all times
