Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- prior housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- ability to work in a resident-centered environment
- desire to work with seniors
- must comply with company safety and regulatory requirements
- ability to follow instructions and procedures
- good physical stamina
- pass drug test and pre-employment health screenings
- comply with Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination mandates as applicable

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, spot vacuuming floors and rugs
- clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- dust, wash, sponge mop, sanitize and hand shampoo furniture
- knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering to respect privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including linen
- collect and properly dispose of trash
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens
- inspect linens for wear and tear and follow procedures for damaged items
- assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- review and document daily logs about resident changes
- ensure cleaning chemicals are stored securely
- maintain clear and safe walkways complying with fire codes
- partner with team to comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- practice safety procedures including use of PPE and fire extinguishers
- comply with infection control techniques and policies
- participate in team activities to meet goals
- demonstrate team member credo and principles of service
- contribute to engagement programs and attend meetings
- maintain compliance with assigned training
- perform other duties as assigned
