Job Duties
- Responsible for knowing and observing relevant fire and safety regulations as well as practicing infection control policies and procedures related to housekeeping
- Assist in facility emergencies such as cleaning carpets after floods and preparing for special events including set-up and clean up
- Keep assigned areas clean, meeting standards set by Eisenhower Center expectations
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures regarding chemical use and cleanup and follow infection control procedures
- Assist with special cleaning tasks including cleaning windows, light fixtures, floor cleaning and other related housekeeping assignments
- Manage and use time effectively to complete regular duties, assigned tasks, and scheduled breaks
- Clean all client rooms, baths, showers, staff offices, therapy rooms, and public areas daily
- Clean floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean woodwork
- Polish furniture in common areas and polish door plates
- Work cooperatively with Maintenance, Food Service, and Rehabilitation staff to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
