Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Ability to operate basic environmental service equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Compliance with safety and sanitization protocols
- Availability to work variable shifts including weekends
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Willingness to collaborate with team members
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and transport duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of sterile environment maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Ability to operate environmental service equipment such as floor cleaners, buffers, and vacuums
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills to resolve standard issues
- Ability to follow local, state, and federal safety regulations
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in assigned areas
- Perform general cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, and hallways
- Transport supplies and equipment as needed
- Set up rooms according to hospital requirements
- Remove trash and handle linen duties
- Distribute supplies and maintain stock levels
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
