Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
  • Ability to operate basic environmental service equipment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Compliance with safety and sanitization protocols
  • Availability to work variable shifts including weekends
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and transport duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of sterile environment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • Ability to operate environmental service equipment such as floor cleaners, buffers, and vacuums
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve standard issues
  • Ability to follow local, state, and federal safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in assigned areas
  • Perform general cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, and hallways
  • Transport supplies and equipment as needed
  • Set up rooms according to hospital requirements
  • Remove trash and handle linen duties
  • Distribute supplies and maintain stock levels
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
