Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • prior housekeeping experience in a health care setting preferred
  • ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
  • physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work full-time day shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • commitment to upholding faith-based values and person-centered care

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • housekeeping experience in a health care setting desired
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • understanding of infection control procedures is a plus

Job Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • adhere to federal, state, and local standards and regulations related to long-term care facilities
  • ensure residents' living areas are cared for with a focus on creating a home-like atmosphere
  • assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
  • cooperate with other departments to support overall community operations
  • model person-centered care by prioritizing residents' comfort and dignity
  • follow all health and safety protocols to ensure well-being of residents and staff
