Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position preferred
- ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift up to 35 lbs for clinical staff and 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- must be able to speak, hear and see
- must use assisted-lift device or receive help for lifting beyond weight limits
- able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
- reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services advantageous
- customer service knowledge skills
- understanding of various cleaning techniques including isolation and terminal cleaning
- ability to differentiate cleaning processes for diverse facility areas
- experience with office cleaning
- ability to safely operate cleaning equipment
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms
- clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas
- follow environmental services department assignments
- know and execute trash removal procedures
- implement daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning protocols
- clean restrooms in public areas and patient rooms including showers
- provide office cleaning services
- maintain customer service standards while performing duties
