Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- desire to work with seniors
- ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks with frequent interruptions
- knowledge of safety protocols and infection control techniques
- physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- willingness to participate in required training and compliance programs
- successfully pass a drug test excluding marijuana
- comply with vaccination mandates as required by law
- as applicable, review and sign driver job description if driving a company vehicle

Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding standard quality standards
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing lavatories and fixtures, dusting furniture and glass surfaces
- knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering and respect privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate storage areas
- collect and remove trash maintaining receptacles in a sanitary manner
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and tear and report damaged items
- maintain commercial laundry in a clean and orderly condition
- assist care managers with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond or report resident feedback
- document pertinent resident information in daily logs
- ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use
- ensure equipment and hazards do not block exits and comply with fire codes
- participate in safety and risk management programs and adhere to safety rules
- comply with infection control procedures
- participate as a member of the team and commit to team goals
- attend meetings and maintain compliance with required training
- perform other duties as assigned
