Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year related experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment including mangle, iron, washer, dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- Good physical stamina to perform housekeeping tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work full-time Sunday through Thursday
Job Qualifications
- One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer and dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums as required
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
- Clean public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
- Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
- Perform all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
- Clean and polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating and air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas
