Job Requirements
- No previous cleaning experience required
- knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school
- ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- capability to push vacuum, reach, stretch and bend during daily work activities
- ability to lift 25 to 35 pounds intermittently
- willingness to work weekends
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent with knowledge and skills equivalent to two years of high school
- positive attitude and customer service dedication
- knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
- ability to work independently following verbal and written instructions
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds
- ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of hotel cleaning tasks to maintain guest rooms according to established standards
- visually inspect rooms to identify maintenance needs
- assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request
- undertake laundry and public area cleaning when necessary
- respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with a service-oriented attitude
- contribute to maintaining a positive and cooperative work environment
- work weekend shifts including Saturdays and Sundays as required
