Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • related experience in housekeeping preferred
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
  • legal requirements for employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or related experience
  • familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred
  • ability to understand and provide friendly guest service
  • knowledge of cleaning techniques and brand standards
  • ability to operate vacuum, mop and cleaning equipment
  • effective listening and communication skills
  • good organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Receive and review room assignments from housekeeping manager
  • stock cart with supplies, linens and amenities
  • properly clean guest rooms including changing linens and towels
  • make beds
  • scrub bathrooms
  • vacuum and dust
  • wash windows and mirrors
  • remove trash
  • replenish amenities
