Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services that meet Sunrise quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work semi-independently and handle multiple priorities
- Willingness to participate in required drug testing and health screenings
- Comply with vaccination requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local laws
Job Qualifications

- Experience providing housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- Strong desire to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions
- Ability to work independently with initiative but also collaboratively within a team
- Familiarity with safety and infection control procedures
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting Sunrise quality standards
- Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- Sweep, dust, mop, spot clean and vacuum floors, rugs, and carpets
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean orderly condition
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and redistribute community linens following approved laundry procedures
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Adhere to safety procedures including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Participate as a team member supporting community goals and values
- Attend regular team meetings and maintain compliance with all required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
