Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in housekeeping
  • Ability to safely use cleaning products
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with clients with mental illness or substance abuse problems
  • Physical capability to perform light to moderate physical work
  • Flexibility and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and supplies distributed to clients
  • Wash towels and linens as needed
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage area
  • Clean common areas of the building including the lobby, public bathrooms, employee offices and conference rooms
  • Clean and disinfect all toilets, urinals, washbasins, tubs and showers
  • Clean mirrors and countertops
  • Restock bathroom paper supplies
  • Clean and prepare rooms after client discharge in anticipation of new clients
  • Provide assistance in ensuring coordinated efforts with other areas, as assigned
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
