Job Duties
- Cleans and disinfects resident areas, restrooms, showers/baths, resident dining rooms, utility rooms, corridors, stairwells and elevators
- Empties and relines trash containers taking trash to designated holding area
- Dustmops, vacuums, and damp mops floors
- Cleans and disinfects all high-touch surfaces including over-bed tables, light switches, shower stalls, restroom sink and toilet fixtures
- Vacuums and damp wipes ledges, over-bed lights, vents, windowsills and furniture
- Cleans inside of room glass and glass panels
- Replenishes paper towel, toilet paper and soap supplies to ensure these items are always available
- Ensures that all furniture is neatly and properly arranged
- Performs terminal cleaning of resident rooms upon discharge including disinfecting bed mattress and frame, bedside cabinets, armoires, and wheelchairs
- Shampoos and extracts carpets and upholstered furniture
- Scrubs and refinishes hard surface flooring
