Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist and reach constantly
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to undergo paid on the job training
- Availability for 2-hour cleaning sessions, once per week in the evening or during business hours
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years experience in custodial, janitorial or housekeeping work preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Strong attention to detail and dependability
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Basic communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
- Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, dusting
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Follow safety protocols for use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional appearance
- Document completed tasks and communicate with supervisory staff
