Job Qualifications
- must possess at a minimum a high school diploma or its equivalent
- experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- knowledge of cleaning methods and safety standards
- ability to follow federal, state, and local guidelines
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- perform day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards
- adhere to guidelines and regulations governing the facility
- support maintenance of a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for veterans
- collaborate with administrator, housekeeping supervisor, and director of environmental services
- ensure compliance with facility policies and safety protocols
- assist in training and guiding housekeeping staff
- manage cleaning schedules and supply inventory
