Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines
- Prior experience in housekeeping preferred
Job Qualifications
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Familiarity with health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
- Follow directions from the Administrator, Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Director of Environmental Services
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
- Participate in scheduled cleaning routines and special cleaning projects
- Report maintenance issues and potential hazards
- Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed
