Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
  • Compliance with facility policies and procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines
  • Prior experience in housekeeping preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
  • Follow directions from the Administrator, Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Director of Environmental Services
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
  • Participate in scheduled cleaning routines and special cleaning projects
  • Report maintenance issues and potential hazards
  • Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed
