Job Requirements
- Patient tactful and flexible when dealing with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, staff members and the general public
- Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks
- Adherence to the Touchmark Gold Standards of behavior and performance including excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends
- Ability to respond as a first responder in emergency situations (training provided)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks
- First responder training and CPR/First Aid certification (provided)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Operate all necessary cleaning equipment
- Ensure residents homes, guest rooms, and common areas are cleaned according to Touchmark Gold Standards
- Notify supervisor or management of any needed repairs
- Keep supervisor informed of equipment performance changes and supply needs
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents, guests, and team members
- Respond as a first responder during emergency situations after training
- Work holidays and weekends as required
