Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work Saturday through Wednesday
  • Willingness to assist with laundry duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a healthcare or residential setting preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper use of equipment and safety procedures
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to interact respectfully with residents, families and staff
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and moving furniture

Job Duties

  • Utilizes protective gear as directed
  • Professionally clean and maintain property
  • Use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
  • Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Responsible for safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adherence to all safety precautions
  • Interact appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
  • Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures and techniques
