Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping preferred
- Ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work Saturday through Wednesday
- Willingness to assist with laundry duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a healthcare or residential setting preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper use of equipment and safety procedures
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to interact respectfully with residents, families and staff
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and moving furniture
Job Duties
- Utilizes protective gear as directed
- Professionally clean and maintain property
- Use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
- Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Responsible for safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adherence to all safety precautions
- Interact appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
- Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures and techniques
