Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • No consumption of alcohol while working onboard
  • Must comply with grooming standards regarding tattoos and piercings
  • Temporary employment not exceeding 28 weeks

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
  • Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledge guests by name and respond kindly to housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
  • Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
  • Clean up spills appropriately and notify managers of maintenance needs
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Build genuine relationships with guests and efficiently handle housekeeping requests
  • Perform additional functions such as greeting guests during embarkation and assisting with special events
