Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to serve guests with hospitality
  • Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays
  • Arrive and clock in on time for every shift and breaks
  • Provide sufficient notice for call outs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting housekeeping items

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names to make them feel welcomed
  • Work together with team members to achieve great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology proficiently for the role
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service and approved greetings
  • Keep all work areas sparkling clean and well-organized
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately every shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform with proper grooming and a name tag at all times
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Show willingness to go beyond traditional role to support business needs
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and attending meetings
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms each shift
  • Undertake additional cleaning projects in assigned areas
  • Follow established guidelines and procedures closely
  • Arrive and clock in on time and follow scheduled breaks
  • Provide sufficient notice for any call outs
