Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping and laundry
- Willingness to work in a senior living community
- Ability to adhere to safety, health, and infection control standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and health screenings
- Compliance with vaccination requirements as mandated by law
- Willingness to participate in required training and development programs
Job Qualifications

- Experience in housekeeping and laundry services preferred
- Ability to work in a resident-centered environment
- Desire to work with seniors
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work semi-independently and follow safety guidelines

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Clean floors, furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces as per schedule
- Respect residents' privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- Transport and manage linen and trash effectively
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry
- Inspect linens for wear and manage damaged items appropriately
- Assist care managers with resident care needs when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond appropriately to requests
- Follow safety protocols including chemical storage, hazard management, and infection control procedures
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions
- Maintain compliance with all required training and safety standards
