Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations
- Commitment to uphold Touchmark Gold Standards
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Patient, tactful, and flexible when dealing with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, staff members and the general public
- Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks
- Adherence to Touchmark Gold Standards of behavior and performance including Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided)
- Ability to work holidays and weekends
- Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
Job Duties
- Operate all necessary equipment to perform essential functions of the position
- Ensure residents homes, guest rooms, and common areas are cleaned in accordance with the established Touchmark Gold Standards
- Notify supervisor or management team if any repairs are needed
- Keep supervisor informed of all changes in equipment performance and of the need for supplies
- Maintain a clean environment and a healthy atmosphere for residents, guests, and team members
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations after receiving training
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents
