Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Cleans floors in residents' rooms by dry mopping, wet mopping, sweeping and disinfecting
- Cleans bathrooms in residents' rooms including sinks, mirrors, pipes, commode tank, bowl and base, fixtures, floors, and walls
- Disinfects trash receptacles and replenishes bathroom supplies
- Dusts, spot cleans, disinfects, and polishes horizontal surfaces, movable and stationary furnishings and fixtures
- Cleans and disinfects vertical surfaces including dusting picture frames, television screens, computer screens and bedside tables
- Spot cleans and disinfects walls, windows, doors, door frames, ceilings and ceiling fans on schedule
- Performs deep cleaning of rooms including disinfecting beds, cabinets, dressers, closets, walls, baseboards and air vents
- Empties and relines trash receptacles and transports waste to dumpster
- Performs terminal cleaning duties in resident discharge rooms and isolation units according to procedure and protocol
