Job Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs for clinical staff and 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- Willingness to use assisted-lift devices or seek assistance when lifting over limits
- Ability to perform essential cleaning duties satisfactorily
- Must be able to work full-time from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience is a plus
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Familiarity with different cleaning processes including isolation and terminal cleaning
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in patient and resident rooms
- Clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas
- Remove trash and dispose of waste safely
- Apply appropriate cleaning methods such as daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
- Clean restrooms in public areas and patient rooms including showers
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
- Use proper cleaning equipment and materials following safety guidelines
