Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in hospitality, service or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure situations
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution and communication skills
  • Desire to serve guests with hospitality
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Punctuality and reliability for shift start and end times
  • Ability to clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice for call outs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting housekeeping items

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests’ names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively with team members to contribute to guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support groups and events hosted at the hotel
  • Answer incoming calls politely using approved greetings
  • Keep workspaces and public areas clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests kindly while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on time
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to assist beyond traditional duties
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a welcoming environment
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and attending meetings
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms during shifts
  • Complete additional cleaning projects as assigned such as deep cleaning and storage organization
