Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or food service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weights
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies in resident apartments
- Perform deep cleaning tasks focusing on main entry areas, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using on-site laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests with a smile, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Review menus with residents, take orders, serve meals and desserts
- Return carts to kitchen, assist with storage of perishable items, and deliver trays to resident rooms as needed
- Bus tables, clear dishes after meals, sanitize tables and chairs, and complete side work such as replenishing supplies and cleaning coffee makers
- Perform other duties as assigned
