Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or food service preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments including carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests with a smile, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Take residents' meal orders, serve meals and desserts courteously
- Return cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishable items, and deliver trays to resident rooms as needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables, reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work including filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffeemakers
- May perform other duties as assigned
